Sage Introduces New Business Suites for SMBs

Management software group Sage Software announced the availability of its MAS 90 and MAS 200 Extended Enterprise Suites, which combine CRM and business-intelligence features in packages aimed at small and midsize businesses.

The company also launched Peachtree Quantum 2009, an accounting solution described as being "for small businesses that have outgrown their current systems, but aren’t ready for a mid-market solution such as our sister product Sage MAS 90."

The suites incorporate SageCRM and Sage MAS Fixed Assets applications into Sage's existing MAS ERP products and, according to the company, "combine financial, operational, customer relations and business intelligence applications to simplify and integrate business management processes and workflow across an entire company." The result is that "salespeople using CRM have visibility into inventory levels, credit holds, purchasing cycles and more." The suites also boast simplified user-based pricing and a single maintenance program.
