IBM Announces New Data Center for Cloud Computing

Intel, Yahoo and HP need to make more room in the cloud: IBM is building a $360 million cloud data center facility at its Research Triangle Park campus in North Carolina.

The data center will include new technologies and services that will give customers access to its "Blue Cloud," according to the company. IBM is renovating an existing building, which is slated to officially open toward the end of 2009.
