Nearly every American is following for upcoming Presidential elections. With so many issues and so many interesting personalities, it's hard to sit idly on the sidelines. In fact, people all over the world are following these important elections. If you have an iPod touch or an iPhone, you can even track the politics 24x7, no matter where you are, with a custom application.

For about the price of a quart of gasoline, the new "Campaign '08" application provides targeted news stories about the candidates and other related political topics based on the user’s political affiliation. Users can actively engage in daily polls and view the political opinions of other iPhone users. According to the company, not only does "Campaign" provide an effective means to get current news, it will also gather valuable insight into the beliefs and opinions of millions of users.

You can download "Campaign '08" from the iTunes App Store. For only $0.99, you can not only get news feeds about all the major Presidential and VP candidates, but also see polls, check out candidate data sheets, and oodles of other stuff. It's fun, it's inexpensive, and it's a lot more fun than watching C-SPAN.

Behind "Campaign '08" is Gorloch Interactive, a small six-person company that's focused on making iPhone apps. This is their first product. I wonder what they'll make next?
