The financial meltdown isn't aimed at Web sites, but the folks at Webguild point out that the Internet isn't exactly recession-proof. So they offer 10 tips on how to reduce the impact.

Frankly the tips aren't particularly oriented toward the current situation, but they're good ideas nonetheless, so I'm passing them along.


1. Improve site navigation

2. Streamline the buying process

3. Speed site load time

4. Improve Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing

5. Focus and simplify content

6. Remove clutter and noise

7. Test and optimize landing pages

8. Improve site usability

9. Add modern site features and functionality

10. Leverage social media

Heck, you can't argue with any of that...
