Business Owners Need A Holiday

With every dime precious, taking time off from work, much less an actual vacation, might seem to be an unthinkable luxury, but it turns out that small business owners are planning vacations this summer at about the same rate as last year.

Spam Surge: 9 Out Of 10 E-mails Can't Be Good!

90% of all email was spam last month, according to Symantec's MessageLabs Intelligence Report, just released. The figure is up more than 5% in the last month. Good news, I guess, is that things can't get much more than 10% worse from here.

Small Biz Focus with Cisco Router, Switch Enhancements

While much of the attention recently has been on Cisco’s Nexus router line, the company rolled out a number of enhancements to its legacy lines. Improvements were made to the company’s Integrated Services Routers (ISR) and Catalyst 4500 and 6500 switches, so these products offer more network integration, are more energy efficient, and do a better job of supporting unified communications (UC) applications.
